The traditional colours which feature in the architecture of the island are white, blue and brown. In the island's volcanic landscape the many whitewashed houses radiate sober restraint while the windows and doors are framed in blue or indigo, which is believed to ward off evil spirits. The brown wood of the island's pine trees, which enables the island's inhabitants to build their houses from local raw materials, rounds off their typical appearance.
Even though we don't believe in evil spirits we have adopted this typical Lanzarote style of building and integrated it in the interior of the hotel in the form of stylishly crafted carpentry work.
